Arrogance is destructive. Pride blinds us so we can no longer differentiate the colors of life. Chance – what a great word! Amazing things happen by chance. Sometimes we get caught up in our daily routines and forget that magic word that breaks the monotone movement of time. What may appear to be completely random and governed by chance often reveals itself to be completely predetermined and supernatural years later. Around eight years ago when we were in St. Thomas on vacation, I wrote down the following values. I had just finished a book about Benjamin Franklin and felt it was important to have my own values down on paper just as he had his. They are as relevant today as they were then.
