Presidential Candidate’s Bold 10-Year Economic Plan

News Today: Ranil Wickremesinghe sets a 10 year economic plan to lead Sri Lanka.

Presidential Candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe has outlined a 10 year economic plan aimed at steering Sri Lanka out of its economic crisis. He warned voters that any disruption to this phased recovery could jeopardize the country’s future. Wickremesinghe, confident in his chances for winning Saturday’s Presidential Election, told Legacy Daily, “We have a 10-year phase, and I will not be there all the time. If it breaks at any time, there is no recovery.”

He criticized his opponents for making unrealistic claims about renegotiating the IMF deal, stating, “They cannot do it. They are only talking rot.” Wickremesinghe also highlighted his Puluwan Sri Lanka manifesto, focusing on youth empowerment, economic revival, and improved education. He encouraged citizens who left during the 2022 crisis to return and contribute to the nation’s development.

The Presidential candidate expressed his commitment to enhancing income opportunities, expanding housing, and ensuring a prosperous future for the youth. If elected, Wickremesinghe vows to begin work immediately, prioritizing long-term economic solutions that will benefit future generations.
