Final Election Rallies Before Campaign Deadline

News Today: Final election rallies held today as campaign deadline nears

As the campaign period for the upcoming Presidential Election comes to a close, a total of eleven election rallies are scheduled to be held today. Candidates are making their final appeals to voters before the campaign deadline.

Independent Presidential Candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe will address rallies in several locations, including Matara, Galle, Kalutara, Homagama, and Maradana. His final rally will be held in Maradana, marking the end of his campaign efforts.

Opposition Leader and Presidential Candidate Sajith Premadasa will participate in rallies across Galle, Beruwala, and Colombo Central. Premadasa’s final rally is expected to take place in front of Tower Hall, where he will deliver his closing remarks to the public.

National People’s Power (NPP) candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake is set to join rallies in Kalutara, Gampaha, and Nugegoda. His campaign will culminate with the final rally in Nugegoda, where he aims to garner additional support for his candidacy.

SLPP Presidential Candidate Namal Rajapaksa will take part in rallies in Tissamaharama and Mathugama. His last campaign stop will be at Piliyandala, where he will conclude his election campaign.
