Newly Elected Parliamentarians Must Register via Website

News Today: Newly elected parliamentarians urged to register through Parliament website

Newly elected Parliamentarians are required to complete their registration by accessing the Parliament website, as per Secretary-General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadeera. Members can fill out their details through the homepage information link on www.parliament.lk. Alternatively, the form can be downloaded and submitted.

To support the preparations for the 10th Parliament’s first session, an information desk will be set up at the Parliamentary Complex on November 19th and 20th, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This facility is strictly for Members of Parliament.

Services include providing necessary documents, identity card photographs, and fingerprint registration for electronic voting. Members are encouraged to attend, accompanied solely by their drivers, for smooth entry. Required identification includes the National Identity Card, valid passport, or driver’s license.

Access is granted via the designated Members’ entrance to ensure a streamlined process. Stay updated with News Today for the latest on this important initiative.
