The 2025 GCE Advanced Level examination application process Sri Lanka has officially begun. The Department of Examinations announced yesterday that the 2025 A/L exams will be held from November 10th to December 5th.
In an official notice released today, the Department confirmed that online applications will be accepted from June 26th to July 21st. All eligible students are urged to apply within this period through the appropriate channels.
Who Should Apply and How?
Students enrolled in government and government-approved private schools must submit their applications through their respective school principals. Meanwhile, private applicants are required to submit their applications independently.
Private candidates must also ensure they use their National Identity Card (NIC) number when completing the online application. This ensures proper identification and processing of their exam credentials.
