The All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) announced that they will reveal their political stance on the Presidential Election by 14th August 2024. Party leader Rishad Bathiudeen emphasized that their main objective is to safeguard the economy. “We feel that the present status of the economy has to be safeguarded and should not be destroyed,” he said.

In an exclusive interview with Legacy Daily, Bathiudeen stated that both the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) candidate Sajith Premadasa and President Ranil Wickremesinghe have approached ACMC for support.
