Dilhani’s Final Powerful Throw at Paris Olympics 2024 Today

News Today: Dilhani Lekamge Competes in Women’s Javelin Throw

Sri Lanka’s Dilhani Lekamge will participate in the Women’s javelin throw qualification round of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games,today.

This will be the 37-year-old’s last international meet since she announced her retirement,after the Olympic games.

Dilhani took home the Silver Medal at Hangzhou Asian Games last year after she set a new record of 61.57m.
She is also the Captain of the Sri Lanka Athletic Team and was the Women’s flag bearer during the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
