Two individuals, including Surendra Wasantha Perera, also known as ‘Club Wasantha’, were killed, and several others, including singer K. Sujeewa, were hospitalized following a shooting at Oruwala Junction in Athurugiriya, police reported. The injured were taken to Athurugiriya and Homagama hospitals for treatment. The incident occurred during the opening of a Tattoo Studio, where Club Wasantha’s wife was also among those injured. Hospital sources confirmed that singer Sujeewa, who sustained gunshot wounds to her legs, along with another individual, were transferred to the Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.
