Exciting Opportunities for Sri Lankan Workers in Israel’s Construction
News Today: Sri Lankan workers can now secure high-paying jobs in Israel’s construction industry.
The Sri Lankan Bureau of Foreign Employment has announced pre-recruitment tests aimed at offering better opportunities for Sri Lankan workers in Israel’s construction industry. These tests are designed to select qualified male workers aged 25-44, who have relevant experience in shuttering carpentry, tile spreading, wire tying, and plastering.
An official from the Bureau told Legacy Daily that the response has been overwhelming, with a large number of people attending the preliminary tests. The attraction lies in the lucrative salaries offered, which exceed USD 1,500 per month, making these positions highly sought after.
The pre-recruitment tests will be conducted at the NAITA Institute in Katubedda, Moratuwa, starting today and continuing until August 15th. Applicants must pay a fee of Rs 6,000 to participate in the tests. They are also required to bring their own tools, equipment, and passports to the testing site.
These opportunities are part of a broader effort by the Sri Lankan Bureau of Foreign Employment to facilitate overseas employment for skilled workers, particularly in countries like Israel, where there is a high demand for expertise in construction. The Bureau’s initiative is seen as a significant step toward improving the livelihoods of Sri Lankan workers by providing them with access to higher-paying jobs abroad.
In light of these developments, the Bureau encourages eligible candidates to take advantage of this opportunity and attend the tests, emphasizing the importance of preparation and bringing the necessary documentation.
