Public Health Inspector shot dead in Elpitiya

A Public Health Inspector, identified as Deepal Roshan Kumara and a father of three, was fatally shot at his home in Divithurugama, Elpitiya, Police reported.

Police said the incident occurred close to the Kurundugaha Hethekma Southern Expressway interchange. Kumara was affiliated with the Karandeniya Public Health Inspector’s office.
