Speaking at a campaign rally, Premadasa strongly emphasized his commitment to remaining politically clean, refusing any association with corrupt political parties.

Premadasa also took aim at the current government and opposition, accusing them of spreading false rumours and paying websites to share misleading news on social media. He affirmed that his party, the SJB, is focused on a clear program as outlined in their manifesto and will not form alliances with “rotten losers and corrupt political parties.”

Premadasa concluded by stating that the SJB will unite with the 22 million citizens of Sri Lanka to lead the nation into a new era after their expected victory on the 21st. He dismissed the notion of aligning with corrupt forces and maintained a strong stance on rejecting political corruption.
