According to a report compiled by CEO World magazine Sri Lanka is rated among the top five destinations to visit in your lifetime.
The entire list consists of many Asian countries like India,Indonesia and Thailand.
There are also other diverse and unique destinations like Fuji,New Zealand and Tahiti.
The rankings are based on feedback from over 295,000 readers.
The Magazine points out that tourists prefer Sri Lanka since it offers a wide range of experiences for travellers from Ayurveda treatment,unforgettable train rides,tea plantation,historic temples and national parks.
The report concludes that Sri Lanka is great for shopping enthusiasts who are seeking Gems,batiks,tea,handloom fabrics,leather goods,antiques,Jewellery and Ceramics.
