During a meeting at the Presidential Secretariat, Swiss Ambassador Dr. (Ms.) Siri Walt expressed Switzerland’s commitment to assisting the country, particularly through the ongoing IMF programme. The Ambassador emphasized Switzerland’s readiness to aid Sri Lanka’s anti-corruption initiatives, aligning with President Dissanayake’s focus on improving governance.

In addition to congratulating the President on his recent election victory, Ambassador Siri Walt highlighted Switzerland’s expertise in foreign direct investments (FDI) and tourism, offering further collaboration in these sectors to boost Sri Lanka’s economic growth.
